Devi Mahalaxmi Skill Development Centre is established in the year 2022 with technical courses. Our courses are recognized by Government of Maharashtra & Affiliated to MSBTE, Mumbai. The College is located in Titwala. It is fifteen minutes walking distance from Titwala Ganesh Mandir. Buses are available for all places in Thane district and Navi Mumbai.
The college is spread over the area of twenty two acres land. Building comprises of Fifteen class rooms, recreational hall, more than forty well equipped laboratories for all courses, administrative office, computer room, library (with more than 7000 books on different subjects, journals and magazines etc) and big play grounds. The institute has various teaching aids like LCD projector, DVD player with monitor, OHP etc. The institute is having more than hundred full time and part- time lecturers, professors, technical and non-technical staff. They are highly qualified and well experienced in their respective fields. Institute is performing as Examination Centre for self and adjoining institutes.
The areas covered by these Courses are extremely important and the Diploma holder will have vast scope in the industrial and paramedical world

The institute is located on Mhaskal Road, Tiwala (East) at 2 km distance from Shree Ganesh Temple. This College is housed in its spacious building with all adequate facilities of class rooms, multipurpose hall, recreation hall, drawing hall, fully equipped laboratories including computer centre and well set up drawing hall library and work shop

Devi Mahalaxmi Skill Development Centre takes pride in its marvelous well-equipped and well-designed laboratories and workshops. All machines and equipments needed for the prescribed curriculum are available in the laboratories and workshops, which are managed by qualified and experienced staff in various laboratories, viz computer laboratories, well designed electronics laboratories, applied science (Physics & Chemistry) laboratories, pathology laboratories & language lab
Class Rooms
We have spacious, airy & well-lit classrooms that provide stimulating & conducive ambience for studying. Each classroom is equipped with the facility of projector and has every gadget to provide online teaching along with classroom lectures
Library
Library is equipped with well stocked volumes of text books, reference books, automated CD's & periodicals spanning the entire spectrum of professional education. The entire collection of books is readily available to students & teachers either for current reading in the library or for home issue at the circulation counter. Library is also subscriber to all major newspapers, periodicals, publication and national and international journals. Various kinds of reference books like encyclopedias, dictionaries and almanacs are available to the students. This immense reservoir of information and learning is a source of constant value addition to the students and faculty as well. Students are also provided with book banking facility.
E-Library
The institute has updated modern e-library facility with more than 20PCs with LAN & high-speed broadband internet connection where e-resources & e-documents can be searched within a short span of time. With the help of e-library students can easily obtain information about their courses & projects to enhance their knowledge
First-Aid Room
A well-equipped room that provides first aid treatment to the students and staff. A doctor is also available to take care of health-related problems and counseling
Drawing Halls
The institute has well-lit, large drawing halls equipped with specially fabricated drawing tables.
Cafeteria
A spacious and clean cafeteria is managed by a professional caterer provides a diverse and quality food at affordable price on the self-service counters. Along with that provision of mess is made to provide wholesome meals taking care in all respects for providing healthy diet. Due care is taken to maintain hygienic conditions in the cafeteria
Seminar Hall
The seminar-cum-conference hall is equipped with modern audiovisual and video conferencing facilities. This facility provides an ideal location not only for our students to attend the lectures by guests from industries but also serves as a popular location for Corporate Seminars & Training Programs

The staff of the polytechnic is well qualified and experienced in their fields. The teaching staff is devoted to their work and makes every effort to impart proper education to the students. Emphasis is laid on the all-round development of the students in technical and extra-curricular talents. Importance is given to discipline. In addition to full time, highly qualified and experienced staff, the Institute has the support and co-operation of visiting faculties Members, comprising of professionally qualified and eminent persons and guest speakers.

Inspite of the tight academic schedule, the institute offers excellent facilities for outdoor as well as indoor games.
